»Fleischlos«
An installation with fleshless furniture, made of skin-coloured lining material as a critical position for the furniture fair in Cologne. The material was used to create a parallel to underwear. The objects hang on hanger braids, a relic of women's lingerie. The reference to a gender-specific dress code is established, and at the same time critically provoked. The furniture is associated with something human and at the same time useless, without function. The fleshless furniture looks like skins, naked and lost, coverings without content and abandoned, like their exhibition site.
The installation, accompanied by a programme of events, took place over a week in an empty shop. A collaboration with the designer Anette Grundmann.
