The basis for this was the collection of Burmese lacquer vessels and textiles, which also furnished the first exhibition, which is recorded here in the catalogue. The 17th-century warehouse was converted to create two exhibition rooms and an event and office space over three floors. The other leaflet describes a follow-up exhibition by the contemporary artist Michel Sauer.
